These terms and conditions outline the rules and regulations for the use of the Explora app, available on Android and iOS devices.

The Explora app is operated by Explora SAS, a company registered in France, located at Aste Beon (64260).

Health and Safety
We at Explora app encourage a healthy and active lifestyle.However, it is important for users to use the app responsibly and in line with their individual health conditions and capabilities.
- Physical Activity: While engaging in physical activities related to the use of the app, users should be mindful of their physical limitations and should always prioritize their safety and well-being. We are not responsible for any injuries or health issues that may occur as a result of using the app.
- Medical Conditions: Users with medical conditions, those who are pregnant, elderly, or individuals with any health concerns should consult with a healthcare provider before participating in any activities promoted by the app.
- Balanced Lifestyle: While we promote tracking steps and being active, it is essential to remember that maintaining a balanced lifestyle involves various aspects including a nutritious diet, proper sleep, and regular medical check-ups. The app should be used as a supplementary tool to encourage physical activity and not as a sole method to achieve a healthy lifestyle.
- No Guarantees: We do not guarantee any specific health outcomes from using the app. Users should use the app at their own risk and are encouraged to use it sensibly as part of a healthy lifestyle. Calories equivalents displayed in the app are indicative approximations.
- External links and resources: Our app provides access to external links for different levels regarding walking trails that exist in real life. These links include Google maps and Instagram hashtags. Explora is not affiliated with this content. Accessing this content is optional and for information purposes only. Explora is not responsible for the content found on these platforms. Some of the trails mentioned in the app can be dangerous in real life, and should users want to try to complete them in real life at their own discretion, Explora is not responsible for any harm that could occur.
By using the Explora app, you acknowledge and agree to these health and safety considerations.
Account Creation
To use the Explora app, users must be at least 16 years old.
Users can create an account using their Google account on Android and iOS Devices, and Apple account on iOS devices.
Users will create a username which will be visible to other players in leaderboards.
User Conduct
Users are expected to conduct themselves responsibly while using the app.
The following behaviors are not tolerated:
- Cheating in any way, including altering game data such as registered steps, currencies earned, game items, and rewards, or other players' data.
- Using an offensive username.
- Harassing other players within or outside the app through any means of communication.Users found engaging in prohibited conduct may have their accounts suspended or banned.
User Content
The username created by users will be visible to other players on the app's leaderboards.
Users must ensure that their usernames do not contain offensive or inappropriate content.
If a problem arises with a username, please report it to hello@explora-app.com.
Intellectual Property
The app logo, design elements, and other visual assets are protected intellectual properties.
Users are not allowed to reuse them without permission.
3D models used in the game are mostly sourced from Quaternius (https://quaternius.com/packs/ultimatemonsters.html) and are available for commercial use under the terms specified on the provider's website.
Third party authentication
Users authorize Explora app to access and use certain information from their Apple or Google account to facilitate the registration and login process.
This information might include, their email address. We do not collect, store, or have access to Apple or Google account passwords.Users can revoke Explora app's access to their Apple or Google account at any time through their Apple or Google account settings. However, by doing so, users might won't be able to connect to Explora.
Personal Data
The app collects and stores personal data provided by users during account creation and gameplay.
Data storage is facilitated through Google Cloud Firebase.The app does not access geolocation data. For more information on data handling, please refer to our privacy policy.
Account deletion
At any time users can delete their account from the app settings. This will delete all data related to their account, as well as all third party integrations. This action cannot be undone.
In-App Purchases, Advertisements, and Subscriptions
The app offers optional ads to increase in-game currency.
The app offers optional in-app purchases in the form of consumable gems packs. These packs can be purchased at any time by users.
